At the front of the cottage is a lawned area with flowerbed under the sitting room window and a large gravel driveway with ample parking for two cars. 

 The garden is hedged and fenced at the rear with plenty of lawn area for children to play.  There is a  patio area with garden furniture and a flower garden. A small brick built shed houses the barbeque.
